The Newspaper Project

We have read much about the death of newsprint and the difficulties it faces on many fronts. A group of newsprint executives who wanted to ‘support a productive exchange of information and ideas about the future of newspapers’ have got together to form the newspaper project . On 2nd February they launched the newspaperproject.org website along with a series of print and online ads that have been running in more than 400 newspapers across the US.

The site has many interesting insights and thoughts over the future and many articles are well worth a read as they cover issues that relate to many media sectors. As journalists they craft their words well and make some powerful arguments what is refreshing is their glass half full approach and their quest to embrace and make change happen.

Well worth a visit.
